Japanese Chocolate

Japan first got a taste of chocolate when it was introduced by the Dutch during the Meiji era in the early 1700s. Despite that, it was mostly used as a natural medicine and was marketed as "old-age sugar." However, chocolates from Japan were only mass-produced after the war, and since then, there has been a wide variety of Japanese chocolates loved by many around the world for their creativity!
