I'd first learned about konpeito as a 11 year old child watching the english dub of hamtaro where they were called "Sugar Stars". Unfortunately i couldn't ever find them where i lived given the english given name was not the same as it's actual name. Now as an adult i finally found a site where i can get some!Rating
They are crunchy but easy on the teeth, They're pleasantly sweet and full of flavor! and the textured bumps make it fun to just hold in your mouth and let it melt away. I can't wait to try more flavors!! my favorite right now is the Matcha Brown Sugar Konpeito. (Posted on 4/16/2022)
