The packaging was adorable, creative, and they figured out ways to make every part of it useful which impressed me. Since the instructions are in Japanese I needed to look up a tutorial which Japan Candy Store provided links to and I appreciate that. I enjoyed making it and the powder you use to make the bento items smelled super good! But upon finishing the kit the texture of the bento items were either so jelly-like but not in a good way or soft cottony-like and it was really hard to eat without feeling like I needed to gag... I ended up throwing most of it away lol. Another thing was I wish I would've just eaten the powder without adding any water because after the water was added it took away a lot of the flavor. They are a bit challenging to make as it's packets and all instructions are not offered in English. The pictures make it possible to do. The flavors are amazing. They are a lot of fun to make and eat. Portions are super small these are like doll house size candies. (Posted on 7/19/2021)

There's definitely a lot of fun with this kit, it requires some time and manual work, but I personally loved that. The jellies didn't really want to jellify, but it might have been my mistake. (I used room temperature filtered tap water). Everything tasted yummy! (Posted on 3/9/2020)
