I literally have to pace myself when I eat these because they're so delicious. The flavor, the texture, everything. Yes they can be peeled, I find the green is easier to peel than the purple. But it's a very thin "skin", think the casing of a slim Jim beef stick. You can suck on them whole for a minute and the skin will slide right off. I think the texture is better without the skin on. My local Asian grocery store sells these for considerably cheaper so I'll be picking these up there from now on, but I would definitely recommend giving these a try! The Muscat flavor is the best of the two grape flavors in my opinion but both are delicious.
