Chestnuts and sweet potatoes are seasonal autumn produce in Japan. Have a taste of the Japanese Autumn season with this box of chocolates featuring Kumamoto prefecture mascot Kumamon! Half of the chocolates in this box have a filling made with Rihei chestnut sauce. The other half has a filling made with honey and sweet potatoes from the Kumamoto prefecture.

Initially ordered this one only because of the packaging design, since I love Kumamon. Two flavors included. I liked the left side, ie. chestnut filling a little more, even though they didn't taste much like chestnut, but more like coffee. XD Sweet potato filling on the other side is barely recognizable, but not bad as well.
